Re-listed due to a non paying buyer.
This was a California car all it"s life until I bought it and shipped it to Florida where it has sat undriven in storage. A health issue means I will not be redoing this car as I had planned so it is up for sale. We have more than enough other old cars and really don"t need this nor do we want anything on trade so don"t bother asking.
1956 Plymouth Suburban Custom station wagon. Good luck finding another one. Not many solid wagons are left.
It has it"s original power train, 277 c.i. V8 and dual exhaust; Powerflite automatic transmission, standard steering and standard brakes and 1bbl carb. It is a nice car you can enjoy as is for cruise ins and detail it as you enjoy it or or restore it for shows if that is your thing . Solid undersides- see photos. Minor bubbling on bottom of rockers but not noticeable to most people.
All fluids flushed and refilled. Car shows 46000 miles ( no idea if that is original ). Engine has been tuned up and a new interior has been installed last month ( carpet,windlace,trim, front and rear seats )
The car starts right up and drives well, but it drives like a 1956 Plymouth, so don"t compare it to a 2017 car. It has a new carb, but it needs a linkage adjustment or choke adjustment.
