1956 Willys CJ-5 All original, not restored just well maintained.6 volt battery system and 6 volt air horns.
New cloth covered wiring harness, All new brake lines and shoes, new carburetor and fuel pump and a period correct - reconditioned heater/defroster. New period correct seat belts. It also sports 5 new zig/zag tread tires. It has the original F4-134 Hurricane 4 cylinder motor, 3 speed transmission, in/out transfer case, Hi/Lo lever and a Warn overdrive. The front axle is equipped with Warn locking hubs. It also has an original hard top and a later model roll bar. It has rust in all the usual locations but no rust in floors. The drivers seat has a few rips. (see photos) It was running last summer up at Giant Sequoia National Monument where we visited all the Big Sequoia trees for the first time. Now it needs a new master cylinder and the aftermarket Mallory ignition coil is not working, no spark. Also the speedo, Odometer and Temp gauge don"t work, and the driver side window regulator doesn"t work. The steering box has a spring loaded adjustment screw called "TightSteer" to help tighten up the Ross Steering box
