| “Original owner was CEO of a California Insurance Company. The car was bought from his estate by a collector in Michigan who later sold it to a car dealer in a western Michigan town. The dealer did a minor restoration and repainted the car changing its original coral color to its present white. The dealer had the car on display in their showroom until a persistent customer persuaded them to sell her the car. The new owner meticulously maintained the car and only drove it in good weather. She claimed it only saw water when she washed it. In 2011 she sold the car to myself and I drove it home to South Bend.
