Vehicle description
This is a very nice frame off 1956 Chevrolet Convertible. It was built 3 years ago. It shows very well. Everything is just about new that could be. The bare stock frame was stripped and sand blasted. The front of the X member was modified to accommodate a 700R4 transmission. Also was made so the transmission could be removed without removing the motor. The rear end is a non posi 3:36 That was checked out and new front center bearing installed. New rear springs with 2 “drop spacers. The axles have new bearings and oil seals. The brakes are drum with all new parts. It is recommended to have drum rear and disc with this type of build. The front has 1 1/2” dropped spindles with adjustable coil overs and disc brakes. The fuel tank and gauge are new. All brake and fuel lines are new. The engine is a 350 out of a 85 Corvette. It is a Jasper rebuilt with about 5k on it. The trans is a 700R4 that was checked out a my local trans shop. It has heat and A/C and new aluminum radiator. The body was removed. It has new front and rear floor pans, inner and outer rockers and most new body mounts. The rear part and splash apron are also new. Both rear quarters are new. The underside is coated. It was painted Honda metallic gray and Chevrolet metallic maroon. Sample paint pallets and most of a quart of each paint provided. The hood is nosed as well as the trunk. The bumpers are custom one peace and chromed. The top is Gray cloth. All the glass and frames are new and tinted. Fronts, rears, and vents glass are all power. Most of the original stainless was polished if it was good and some was aftermarket. All the belt line and windshield is original and polished, (there is no after mark for these). The front seats are 65 T bird along with parts to make a custom console. Everything was done in a custom black and gray design The gauges are all Dakoda. The radio has CD and MP 3 plug in. Power antenna. I tried to list everything, but I am sure I might have missed something. I hope the photo spread all got in. I am not interested in any trades. I have been contacted regarding trades. I really don"t want anything but I would consider 70 El Camino in partial trade. I DO NOT NEED HELP TO SELL THIS CAR! The car is in Manchester NH. I will be happy to discuss the car with you. Please don’t think that I will sell it lowballed! Curtis 603 860 6845
