Vehicle description
Selling my 1956 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan de Ville. The car is completely original and matching numbers. Original paint and interior. As you can see, it also has the rare Sabre-Spoke wheels in gold! The build date was March 20, 1956. The paint code 42-90 shows Goddess Gold and Alpine White. Trim No. 46 shows upholstery is the following; Cushions & lower back rests - green Bombay metallic cloth, upper section of back rests – green leather (including head liner), interior panels & steering wheel cedar green metallic (excluding the steering wheel), top of instrument panel & carpet – dark green. Accessory codes are E, H & Y. E = EZ Glass, H = Heater & Y = Posture seat adjust.
The car has 88,909 original miles. The 365 CID, 285 HP engine has only 8,852 miles since complete overhaul back in 2015. It also has a 4-speed transmission called the Hydra-Matic. The car is 65 years old and some things are not currently in working order. I would like to say this car is solid, but the inner and out rocker panels are rusted out. The frame, floors, trunk floor and body panels are nice. The car had been sitting since 1973 until I bought it 2014. I am a retired mechanic, I repaired and or replaced most everything it needed to be safe and reliable. I’ve kept a working log book that goes with the car. It shows everything I did to the car in detail. I have all the receipts that go with the car as well. I really enjoy driving this car. It floats along the highways like it’s on a cloud, cruises the freeways at 75 MPH effortlessly with that 3.08:1 final drive. Any questions please ask.
