Vehicle description

Excellent example of Willys Pickup truck, original, rebuilt, straight six engine, rebuilt correct carb. It has a new clutch. All new parts in the fuel line, in the ignition system, and the brake system. All correct for the year, except, 12v conversion, and electronic ignition. The distributor looks nearly exactly as the original. New coil, wires, plugs. Fuel line has new Sending unit, Fuel pump, filters. the gauges all work, except ammeter, I meant to replace it with a volt meter, but never did. All new tires, correct for the year.
The brake system has the following new, lines, drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, and master cylinder. The rear axle seals have been done. The body is painted matte black, the fenders and trim is gloss black. The rims, and interior are painted sunset red. The seat is the original vinyl seat, no rips or tears, its very to find an original seat in this condition.
The cooling system is new, new three core aluminum radiator, six blade fan, cowling, and water pump. It never gets hot. The four wheel drive works perfectly. The three speed transmission works correctly.
The bed was removed, stripped, primed and painted with bed liner. Reassembled with all stainless steel bolts and nuts. There was NO rust through, or honestly any rust on the body. Underneath the cab had some rust, it’s been cleaned up, and painted. It’s has some small “character” dents and dings I chose not to remove. Nothing serious.
What’s not working, 1) I never bothered with the windshield wipers, but the system is there, and complete. 2) I never hooked up the heater, though I have all parts.
I’ve been driving it around town, to Home Depot for lumber, out to breakfast, etc., for two years. It’s super reliable, and makes a great parade vehicle. It gets a lot of smiles and waves.
I have the full set of manuals that come with it, and many spare parts. Questions?
