Old Yeller Race car You are viewing a very professionally built race car that is also street legal. Home built by a professional who died shortly after it was finished with only 107 miles. Very high quality parts used in the build. The car was built about 2000. Currently owned for 10 years. It is thought that the owner built the car as a modern version of Old Yeller. The car is titled as a 1955 Austin Healey likely do to a donor car for the windshield, which is an original 100-4 Windshield frame. The car is in running and driving condition. Body/Paint: Body manufacturer is unknown and may be a one off body. No model or body number ID on the car. The body is made entirely of carbon fiber. Tilt front and rear sections. Professional wiring and very organized. No Top Interior: The interior is race ready with all the vitals needed for performance. Gauge package, e brake, fire extinguisher, quick release steering wheel and roll bar. Battery under passenger seat. Running Gear: Serious HD racing components engine, trans and rear end. The engine is a 383 stroker with aluminum heads, aluminum intake with Webbers. Lower compression at 10 to 1 or so for streetability and pump gas, but does have a lot of power. Likely in the 450 HP range. Oil reservoir, belt driven oil pump with other race ready components. MSD distributor with box. HD Griffin radiator and fuel cell. Transmission is a Richmond 5 speed. HD clutch. Rear end is a Ford narrowed 9 inch. Lower gear ratio posi. Suspension: The frame and suspension is serious/professionally built for racing and very HD. Front HD sway bar with tubular upper and lower A arms using a strut coil over set up. Rear is latter bar three link set up with HD sway/pan bar. Coil overs. Very sturdy and strong. Exhaust: Ceramic coated headers with side pipes. Sounds like it should. Brakes: large two piece high quality rotors and calipers, but not sure of the brand. Wheels/Tires: Like new very expensive HRE Performance wheels that are beautiful with Pirelli high performance tires. 255/35 ZR 18 front and 335/30 ZR 18 in new condition, but older. Summary: The car is in very nice condition with just a few miles on the build. Runs and drives excellent. Six figures was spent building this car. High quality build. Great value for the money.
