In 1955 Nascar racing was just begining, this is a Plymouth that very well could have raced in the Daytona beech racecourse at the time before the big racetrack was built ,half the race course was on the beech and other half on cement, safety standards were simple, maybe safety belts, roll bars, little if any sponsors,rope tied down the hood, check it out on the internet this car is a tribute to those crazy race days if you are looking for a pretty,high price, numbers matching car, i can not help you, but if you want something that will be a show stopper and conversation starter,this could be your cup of tea the Plymouth now has a 318, runs well,came out of a 1962 Plymouth Challenger transmission is a 904 rebuilt, month ago new, brakes,master,lines,cylinders,new battery new ,wiring, driveshaft, exhaust, hei, radiator, hoses,gauges,gas tank, rocker panels nice glass all around, no chips,cracks,windows roll easy floors are original, i left the underside unpainted to show this, trunk had a weak floor,repaired with fiberglass sheets original exterior red and white paint, car had 28,000 original miles,but left out side for years,include is the original odometer car was ordered with radio deleat, mirrows deleat,no back up lights v8 stick shift comes with boxes of extra parts,dash,chrome,etc car runs, drives,stops well yep . . . . .it looks rough, but drives well, a little beat up, side swiped,light roll over,etc,etc,,,,,,,,,,,hey it"s a race car. cell is 313-909-2672, questions? feel free, car has to go, new project on it"s way,
