“Very nice running and driving vehicle. Cold A/C, Car is very straight and looks awesome. Seats and trunk liner appears to be original. Underside of the vehicle is unrestored and appears to be all original. Top has always performed flawlessly until we went to photo the car,,it would not go but about halfway down,,,,came right back up but wouldn't go all the way down. I'm going to do some research, betting it is low on fluid.” |

The 98 Starfire led the field in both categories and was the most expensive Oldsmobile offered from 54 to 56. Powered by the 202 hp 324ci 4 barrel Olds Rocket V8 backed by an automatic transmission with power steering and brakes this car is a true joy to drive, The car runs and drives as it should, it has Cold A/C (Ultra Rare in a Convertible) and has every conceivable option available in 1955, showing 56,858 miles. Factory Padded Dash, Parking Brake Light, Power Windows, Power Seat, Working Power Antenna, and Working Spot Light. Car is very straight and looks awesome. Seats and trunk liner appears to be the originals. It does feature an updated sound system with a Pioneer Super Tuner head unit placed in the glove box. Underside of the vehicle is unrestored and appears to be all original. Top has always performed flawlessly until we went to photo the car,,it would not go but about halfway down,,,,came right back up but wouldn"t go all the way down.
