Vehicle description

1955 Ford Thunderbird . Condition is Used. 3 speed standard transmission with O/D. Converted to 12V system. Most parts changed out were saved such as T-Pot Holly carb and manifold, A/C Unit, oil bath air cleaner, body trim and lens. Lots of new stuff such as 1957 T-Bird carb and manifold, distributor, alternator and voltage regulator, brakes, dry element air cleaner, and Koker wide whitewall tires. Lots of maintenance records since original purchase. Car is in reasonably good condition for its age although never restored (mostly preservation strategy by 3 other owners and myself). Some rust issues on under carriage that appear to be mostly surface although one rust out area visible on right inside rocker panel. Car has always been garaged by me, driven on weekends and never in bad weather for the last 7 years. Car looks great to get lots of thumbs up. All special tools, used and new parts are included with purchase (extra rebuilt distributor, Petronix ignition, Holly carburetor, and lots of hardware) ,etc.! I first rode in a 1955 T-Bird in 1955 when I was 10. Always wanted one since then but could never afford the money or time to tinker with one until I retired. I"ve had my nostalgic rememberances and driving fun but getting to old to crawl underneath the car to even to change the oil. Never trusted leaving car with anyone else to fix. Did all my own work so any questions feel free. If your looking for a car to just take out on a Sunday drive without sinking a lot of money into fixing it up, this is your car. Just keep up the preservation strategy like previous owners to maintain its performance and value and just have fun like I have. Runs strong and looks good!
I"m only going to list this car once on Ebay and I believe its very reasonably priced to sell.
