For your consideration. . 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This car came to us from Missouri. It has had $5,000 plus worth of recent work recently (in the last year) completed to bring it to a great driver quality car. Included but not limited to were. . . rebuilt carb, new starter, new generator, fuel pump, thermostat, new hoses and belts. New remanufactured Ford radiator and ford hoses, new exhaust front to back, New shocks, new brake lines (stainless hard lines and new rubber hose ends to the calipers). New wheel seals and calipers, rebuilt brakes and new shoes. Rebuilt distributor, cap, wires and plugs. New battery and connections. New transmission filter and gaskets. Tires are also much newer Coker Wide white tires, though we didn"t install those. with receipts to back that up. The body has a 4 to 5 year old paint on it. It is very presentable. The only sign of body work that I can pick out is under the drivers rear tail lamp and the lower, rear, inner wheel well cover (please see the pictures). The under side of the car is also in very good condition. The frame is excellent and original front to back. As far as the under body, There are no patches on the bottom of the car. The end of a few body supports have rot at the very ends (readily available and an easy fix) but the rest of the supports are very solid. (please see pictures). Trunk is also original and no patches. Interior is decent and useable. Seats were recently recovered. New carpet and pad. Door panels are original. Dash will need recovered in the future. Tach works but needle needs repair. Overall a good quality driver that will continue to climb in value. As with all our sales, please look the pictures over well.
