Vehicle description
Price Reduced! If you have any questions call me on my cell - 712-253-1969. Car is located in Norman, OK. I can help with shipping and am located less than a mile from I-35 in central Oklahoma.
Up for sale is a very nice and well preserved 1955 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan. This car is a 2 owner car out of Waco, TX and still sports it original "Bird-Kultgen" dealer badging, key chain, and warranty info. The car has 77,xxx miles and runs and drives great. I took it on a 80 mile trip last weekend and it ran just as it would back in the 50"s when it was new. It has the original 272 V8 that currently sports a rare tri-power setup and thunderbird valve covers as it has been tastefully transformed into a vintage hot-rod look (slightly lowered but comes with stock springs). The motor is hooked up to the original Ford-o-matic transmission and shifts smoothly. The exterior has been re-sprayed at some point (20-30 years ago) in the original special ordered red/white, while the interior is still in its original paint and is in great shape. The exterior has a few small blemishes and a very small dent on the driver side rear quarter panel. The car has been converted to 12 volt and is rust free and has normal wear and tear (please look closely at pictures and ask any questions you may have) for a 63 year old car, but shows great. It recently won the "Fan Favorite" award at a local car show and always draws a crowd and thumbs up while driving around town. Only reason I am selling is because I recently acquired another classic car and my garage is out of space so one of my toys must go.
The car comes with the original intake manifold, carburetor, valve covers, springs, numerous extra trim pieces, 2 extra radios, original spare tire, and a few other odds and ends. Car has a clean and clear title.
Please look at the pictures closely and watch videos below. The car is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if sold to local buyer. Feel free to call or text me with any questions you may have. My cell phone is 712-253-1969. I am located in Norman, Oklahoma.
