Vehicle description

1955 Belair hardtop 2 door sedan, no post, 509 Merlin BBC, 870 Holley, carb, built TH350 w/shift kit, 3200 stall converter, 12 bolt rear end w/ 4.10 gears. New coils, tubular arms with dropped spindles, new dearched leaf springs, new shocks front and rear, brake lines replaced, braided 1/2" fuel line, updated fuel sender, mechanical fuel pump, new aluminum radiator, B/M trans cooler w/integrated fan. Manual steering with dropped center link, manual brakes with disc/drum and Wilwood master cylinder. Has Weld draglight wheels, 275/60/15 rear tires, 195/70/15 front tires, long tube ceramic coated headers into 3" dual exhaust, Painless wiring fuseblock, B/M Megashifter. 8 point roll cage installed, floor pans replaced at same time, dynamat on all floors, racing bucket seats, factory rear seat, have extra Impala low back buckets. I did the racing seats so I could have more legroom. Have lots of extra parts incl armrests (removed to clear side bars). Restored approx 12 years ago w/full documentation incl pictures, over $13k spent for paint/body work alone. Have folder of receipts and paperwork with all parts installed. When I bought it was yellow and white with black dash, was redone in original teal blue with chevy bright white. Original steel hood that I had a steel cowl induction scoop welded into it to clear air cleaner and let heat out. Also replaced chrome grille, headlight bezels, taillight bezels rear quarter trim, side door flippers, interior dash chrome etc. Crate engine installed approx 14 years ago. Runs cool 165-185 degrees. Excellent condition, solid frame, no rust, show and go, never raced - too nice and too much invested for that! Have owned car for last 15 years, originally came from Texas,(when I bought it still had 1986 Texas inspection sticker on windshield. Have Massachusetts title in hand.
