Vehicle description

A super original straight as an arrow solid car with beautiful details throughout. This car is an amazing survivor and restored car combined. All matching numbers on the paint and the drivetrain. The motor is the V8 265 with 2 barrel carb that runs smooth! This car drives as nice as it looks! The car even has Firestone Bias ply tires wide white wall tires that give it a stiffer ride but are great for showing!
This car is turn key and show ready! ! Mechanically the car has along with the V8 265, a powerglide automatic transmission, oil bath air filter with oil canister filter, and the original power steering and regular standard brakes. Stops and drives true. No issues with the transmission, shift up and down fine and smooth. upon initial start up there is a little blow by, which goes away quick. (only after initial startup.) After warming up the engine idle is quite and smooth, with no smoking.
All of the side glass is original with the logos E-Z-EYE, and in very good shape. Some slight outer edge yellow blemishes from age as originals, but very good overall. Front and rear windshields are original, seals are in good condition (with minor rash on front windshield), The chrome and trim are stainless trim are in excellent shape polished and ready to show. There is one small dimple on the front bumper by the license plate holder. (about the size of the end of a thumb). Other chrome on the car is overall great with a few minor mars here and there (still a 9.5 out of ten in my opinion). The only imperfections with the pot metal are pits under the rear side window frames, every were else are great. Weather stripping looks to be original as well as seals. Original trunk mat, and spare Bias ply black wall tire from the 50"s. Upgraded radio, am/fm with bluetooth factory look alike. Seats and carpet are new red correct material. Correct red seatbelts new as well. Interior fits really well! Temperature gauge was just replaced with the original style gauge and sending unit. Steering is tight, the speedo only works to 30 miles per hour. All lights work as they should. I just installed a new wiring harness under the hood and dash.
Super solid body. The paint and bodywork are excellent! (9/10) Paint is really pretty good! No bondo found on overall body, magnet run over all of the usual areas and none to be found! unbelievably clean and straight! !
Overall very clean and original car restored to classic chevy show car standards. Won shows in Colorado before I purchased it. One of the best 1955"s left that has not been cut up or pieced together.
