Vehicle description
This is the start of a very high-end build. 1955 Chevrolet Pickup Truck. Original bill of sale and all receipts for build included. The person who was building the pickup was an engineer and took copious amounts of notes and includes drawings for every aspect of the build.
It was in the original family until my friend purchased it. The original owner"s son took the pickup apart and started the build. A new $12,000+ TCI frame was ordered with most options picked. It does have 9" true track 31 spline axles, coilovers and disc brakes all around. New $9200 crate 350/375 engine, new TH 350 stage two Street Mart Package transmission. Vintage Air installed, New wiring throughout the pickup. Custom exhaust that sounds awesome. Everything in this pickup is new, except the cab. Zero rust in the cab. One new front fender and door. There is some bodywork to be finished on the cab and front body parts. There is a bed, but it is not in good enough condition to include in the sale, but is available if wanted (all apart).
The prior owner had over 60k in parts, rust repair, and miscellaneous parts and materials. This does not include the countless hours put into the build. I have a three inch binder full of receipts and a notebook with all his drawings and notes about the build in it.
