Vehicle description

1955 Two-Door Handyman Wagon. I have owned this vehicle for 25-years. The car was stripped to bare metal. There was a small amount amount of rust around the top of the drip rail so I had the roof skin removed and took out about a half inch of the roof skin and put it back on while leaving the drip rail off. The only other rust on they body was around the tops of the headlights and two quarter size rust holes on the passenger quarter panel. All body work has been professionally done and the vehicle has been professionally painted in a commercial paint booth while disassembled. The car is butternut yellow and white. It has not been buffed and I do not know if I would buff it because it is clean, but do what you suites you. The vehicle has tilt-wheel, power steering, power disk breaks on the front, I have brand new rear disk breaks for it that are not currently installed, and it has duel exhaust that are in good condition. As for what needs to be done. Everything is painted, but I do not have a hood for it although I do have a half gallon of the yellow paint so that when you get one for it it can be painted to match. The other day when I went to back it out I went to put it in reverse but it would not go in reverse and I am unsure why, but it is likely that it needs transmission work. It will go forward. The vehicle will also need a little carburetor work. It has a little tear spot on both sides of the front frame where the bumper hooks up. It looks like someone tried to pull it before, but I do not think it hurt anything and I have provided a picture of it so you can be the judge. To fix this I was just going to box in the frame. As you can tell by the pictures the floor has a few bad spots, but I was just building the car to drive so my focus was on having a slick paint job. I will give you everything that I have for the vehicle, but I am sure that there are a few things missing. I do have the rear seat, but do not have the factory front seat. I have the original glass in my possession, but was going to put new glass in it. I am unsure of the condition of the old glass. The only reason I am selling is because I am more of a Camaro man and find myself going back to them in my free time, so I do not believe I have the time to finish this car. You must be at least 18 with at least 10 feedback to bid on this car. It will be sold as is. Shipment charges will be the responsibility of the buyer, but I will assist in anyway possible. It is for sale locally and I am reserving the right to remove this listing. If you would like additional pictures or information feel free to message me.
