Vehicle Details I have since decided I have too many irons in the fire and need to get rid of a few projects. Up for sale is a 1955 Cadillac Coupe de Ville 2 door hardtop. Rust free California survivor! Clean California title in my name current registration on non op status so it is a breeze to put in your name. This Cadillac is complete but non running. Motor and transmission were pulled as I was going to rebuild it. I can set it back in the engine bay if needed or leave it and load it separately. I'll go through car step by step. .Exterior-VERY STRAIGHT RUST FREE. This will save you THOUSANDS in body work, metal fabrication and prep time. There is a ding toward the rear quarter panel top about 8" long easily accessible and fixed through the trunk. The hood has a dent at the passenger upper corner and again easily fixable and accessible. This car is approximately 20' long and straight, straight, straight, for it's age. There is some light patina rust in some areas although most of the car is still in the factory blue. One spot in the trunk where the drain hole is has a portion rusted through. Flat piece 2" wide x 6" long. Again easy fix. The floors are perfect, the trunk is solid, the rockers are in excellent condition. All exterior chrome and stainless should be cleaned, polished, or rechromed if you want show quality. Most is in driver quality. The front dagmars are in excellent condition as is grille. Front grille complete except for center chrome bar ($100 on ebay). All beltline trim in place. Upper and lower body line molding all accounted for. Missing driver side windshield pillar trim ($25 on ebay). Both tail lights accounted for however new lenses need to be purchased. Both fender skirts present with latch mechanisms. Missing Cadillac and Coupe de Ville emblems which are easy to find. Rear bumper accounted for with both ends having holes where exhaust comes through (very common) . Interior-Electric windows/front seat. Seat Frames present along with front seat chrome and bottom side moldings. Door panels present front and back with all trim badges. Dash is complete except for radio which repros are made. Steering wheel and horn button complete. Floors are PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT.I have listed the auction to the best of my ability and not responsible for any errors or anything left out. I am human and can from time to time make a mistake.
