Vehicle description
1955 Buick Roadmaster, . Turquoise, 4 door, 97% original, made of iron, "4 holer", green and white interior, smooth running, 322 Nailhead V8, 72 series, body by Fisher, 12 volt, barn find. (There is a label inside the door, referencing an overhaul at 37000)
The rust is NOT deep, its mostly where the paint has flaked off. The drivers side door pan has the most rust.
All the car is straight and has all the chrome these babies came with.
I also have a reprinted shop and Dyna-flow transmission repair manuals and a new set of plug wires.
She needs someone with the time to administer some more TLC to her to have a truly beautiful car.
Most of the rubber items ie; door seals, firewall penetrations and things that require "boots" need replacing.
She has all her glass, front windshield is cracked down the middle (not in line-of-sight).
The muffler, not the pipe, needs to be replaced.
It has had new brakes, bearings, points and plugs and tires put on in 05 or 06 (?) and has been parked for 5 years. We used it just to go to the drive-in and look cool cruising around town.
I removed the vacuum lines to the original wiper motor so there are no functioning wipers.
Just changed the oil 1.8 miles ago.
