selling for friend whom is older and doesn"t use computers is a rare 1954 international R140. IH"s first factory built 4x4 truck. 1 of 995 built between 1953-55 so one of about 400 or less built for 54. other than needing a new grill the rest of the truck is fairly solid and straight with just a few dents and a little rust common places like in the cab corners, lower doors, and front floor pan area. it was a public utilities truck that was used to set power poles in the ground so it wasnt used in the winters. i took the service body, boom, winch, and counter weight off to reduce the weight and size to make it so a transport company with a 3 or 4 car wedge trailer could haul it no problem. my friend bought it over 40 years ago from an auction then drove it to his salvage yard in hopes to turn it into a off road tow truck but never got around to it and it sat ever since. its a very cool looking truck with awesome patina. great to get running and driving again as is or a good base for restoration. these could have been had with a truck box which would look very cool on this one. My friend has since lost the title for it but them are pretty easy to get in most states now days, so he can provide a bill of sale. $500 due within 24 hours and the rest within a week.
