Vehicle description
1954 GMC 100, 1/2 ton long bed. Originally a hyrdramatic auto trans truck (comes with original tranny and all linkage, was running when removed and stored indoors). Has a 305 small block that runs excellent and a newly rebuilt 350 auto trans, hooked to the original column shifter. Modern rear end and front disc brake kit on original straight axle. Converted to 5 lug, 4.75 inch pattern at all 4 wheels, to run any style wheel you want. I have replacement front windshield, needs door glass (cracked). Has factory hood rocket, very nice, ZERO rust rot, not one pinhole anywhere, thus the price, I have had many of these and this is one of the best bodies I"ve ever found. Even the grill and mustache bars are ding free. Brakes are new and has dual master cylinder. Fires right up and idles smith, Edelbrock carb, clean fuel tank. Still a project, needs wiring ( I have enough wiring in it to fire it up and drive it up and down the street. no brake yet.
I have $750 in parts on the way for this truck, rear bumper, brakes, license holder, tail lights, door panels, door regulators, marker light lenses, floor mat and a few other small things to make it complete. Parts are included, price is the same.
Title issue-Clear original title, but titled to original engine which is gone. It does also have its original data plate. Never been title to the data plate, so it is clear. Could be retitled to that? Could be corrected if you are in CA. A reproduction data plate could be made with original engine number that matches title. You decide. If this is a problem for you.
