1954 Ford F-350 F350
WOW! NO RESERVE - 5 Days only!
Here is a one of a kind, super straight, super clean, all original ford pickup. This truck is actually a one owner! I picked it up from the original owner"s daughter, who was in charge of the estate. I guess you could call this one a "behind the barn find", as they had stored it there after the owner got too old to drive. He was very proud of this truck, as he had someone put it up on blocks, we had to take jacks with us when we went to pick it up. Over the years it got the beautiful sunburnt patina you see - but it was in a dry area, so there is almost no rust.
As I said, it is very evident he was proud of this pickup. The bed and fenders are exceptionally straight, which is unheard of for a farm pickup. There are very few dings or dents in this one. If I were to keep it, I would probably just clear coat it and call it good, but if you want to do a restoration, this will save you a fortune on body work. Not perfect, but extremely straight.
Once I got it home, we decided to see if it would start. I installed a new set of points, a coil, and stuck a battery in it. The starter sounds a little rough, but works, as we poured a little gas in the carb, it fired and started to run, it will fire every time we put gas in carb, but it is going to need a fuel pump, probably a carb kit, etc. Generally the things any vehicle would need after sitting for 20 years. Please keep in mind this is a project truck - it ran when parked - but will need some work to make it a driver. This would be a perfect father-son project, as it is all here, all in one piece, but is going to need all the basics that a do-it-yourselfer should learn. This one will be a lot of fun. This truck comes with a clean & clear Kansas title. I do have the seat, but it will need to be re-done. This is truly an awesome truck, but please look at pictures closely and ask any questions prior to bidding (it is a project) Cort 620-786-5172. Please check my prior feedback, I"ve sold lots of old trucks with no disappointments. It is o.k. if it sits here while you schedule pickup. Thanks, and good luck!
