This1954 Chevrolet 210 2 door sedan is a good driver and has beenrefurbished from head to toe to keep the classic stock look and tomake it more modern and dependable on the road. It was built to be areplica of the 1954 Chevy that I purchased new when I was just 22years of age and became a street cruiser of the "50s. Therebuilding process on this car was started in 2011 and was completedin 2013. It now has 4289 miles since getting back on the road.
Therunning gear of this car has been completely replaced, featuring aChevrolet 350 small block engine, TH350 automatic 3-speedtransmission, aluminum radiator, dual 2-speed cooling fans, headersand dual exhaust with “Hush Thrust” mufflers, power rack andpinion front suspension with disc brakes and sway bar, and a 1972Camaro rear end with drum brakes.
Theinterior has been completely replaced with new leatheretteupholstery, new carpet, new headliner, floor and door insulation,tilt steering column, new instrument cluster with VDO gauges,heater/air conditioning, and seat belts. Bucket front seats replacedthe original bench seat while the rear seat is original. The car hasno radio.
Thebody was completely redone by a body repair professional. The bodyand paint are flawless and do not have any dings, chips, scratches,or any other blemishes. The front and rear bumpers were re-chromed,and all the stainless trim was straightened and polished. The paintcolors are 1956 Cadillac Duchess Green and 1959 Chevrolet HighlandGreen. The 15 inch wheels are original.
Thereare a couple of issues that the new owner may wish to address whichdo not affect the performance, comfort, or appearance of the vehicle: FUELGAUGE-Does not show accurate fuel level. VENTWINDOWS-The vent windows do not seal properly. WINDSHIELDWASHER-A fluid reservoir is installed in the engine compartment and awiper control with a washer button is installed on the dash, and theoriginal nozzles are installed on the cowl, but a pump and hoses havenot been installed.
