Vehicle Details HELLO, THIS WILLYS BEEN IN THE GARAGE SINCE THE MID 1960'S. WAS BOUGHT NEW THEN WAS USED AS A PLOW TRUCK FOR AN OLD TIME GARAGE/GAS STATION. THE TRUCK WAS THEN BOUGHT IN THE 1960'S TO BE RESTORED TO ORIGINAL CONDITIONS BUT THAT JUST NEVER HAPPENED. IT SAT INSIDE THE GARAGE EVER SINCE. SO THE FACTS I KNOW ARE AS FOLLOWED; NO TITLE AND NO KEYS WERE FOUND IN THE HOUSE, IF EVER FOUND I WILL GLADLY MAIL THEM TO YOU. AN LOCAL MECHANIC CAME OUT TO HELP US DO A FEW THINGS TO GET THIS READY TO SELL. THE TRUCK TIRES HOLD AIR AND ROLES FREELY. THE MOTOR SPINS BY HAND BUT NEVER TRIED TO START. THE RADIATOR WAS OUT OF IT ON THE SHELF SO MY MECHANIC PUT IT BACK IN PLACE FOR THE PICTURES. THE WOOD ON THE FLOOR LOOKS TO BE IN REAL NICE SHAPE. THE REAR DOOR HAS SO VISIBLE RUST ON IT. THE BOTTOMS OF THE LEFT/RIGHT DOORS HAS RUST ON THE BOTTO. AS WELL AS YOUR TYPICAL SHAPE. I THINK THIS LOOKS TO BE MOSTLY RUST FREE FOR THE AGE AND PLOW TRUCK. MILES ON DASH IS WHAT THEY ACTUALLY ARE. ANY EXTRA PARTS FOUND IN THE GARAGE OR HOUSE WILL GO WITH THE TRUCK AS PICTURED. THIS WILLYS WAS BURGUNDY FROM THE FACTORY. LOOKS TO BE HAND PAINTED BLUE, MAYBE THE COLOR OF THE GAS STATION. I GUESSED ON THE YEAR FROM THE VIN NUMBER AND ON THE JEEP WILLYS WEBSITE. THE TRUCK DOES NOT RUN SO I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT THE MECHANICAL PARTS ON IT. ALL I KNOW IS IT IS VERY SOLID UNDERNEATH AS WELL AS THE FLOOR BOARDS. ALSO IT IS VERY ORIGINAL SO YOUR NOT BUYING A BASKET CASE. NO PLOW BLADE WAS FOUND BUT THE FRAME FOR IT IS AN OLD WESTERN PLOW AND COULD BE WORTH SOMETHING TO ANOTHER VINTAGE JEEP GUY. IT WAS EXTRA DIRTY SO ALL I COMPLETED WAS A BATH TO GET THE DECADES OF DUST OFF OF IT. ANY INFO PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO I CAN LEARN AND PASS IT ON TO THE NEXT OWNER.
