| “1953 Merc 2 door hardtop, 255 V8 Flathead, 3 speed, with overdrive. This is a mostly original unmolested rust free California car. It has one repaint many years ago, it was originally a light green, with dark green roof. The drivers side quarter panel, had been lightly hit in the past, and the repair is now showing, the only place with bubbling paint (pictures provided). Car starts right up, runs and drives. Dash board, instrument cluster are very nice, the headliner is in good shape, the door panels should clean up okay, the seats are sun baked, cracked at the tops. The car spent its entire life in California, prior to 4 yrs ago, when the person I bought it from purchased it. All of the glass is good (windows move up and done nicely), with the exception of the windshield (cracked), I will provide a new one with sale. Car is still 6 volt, has an electric fuel pump.” |

1953 Mercury Monterey 2 door hardtop, Flathead V8, 3 Speed w/OD You are bidding on a nice example of a hard to find, unmolested collector car. Carpets have been removed to show the solid floors, the interior is original, albeit tattered seats, sun baked. A great starting point to restore, or these cars make a great custom. I have clear title in my name. Please ask all of your questions prior to bidding. The car will be released, once the funds have cleared.
