This is a rare 1953 Kaiser Manhattan which was manufactured by Kaiser-Frazer Corp at Willow Run in Ypsilanti, Mich. Original miles 91,732, mechanically restored, mostly original. Speedometer has been completely restored; NEW re-manufactured hydramatic trans. New rear leaf springs. New radiator with 3 row core for extra cool cruising. Electric fuel pump is gear driven and will pump alcohol and all fuel additives and this eliminates vapor lock problem. Gas tank has been restored and interior coated to prevent corrosion. Gas return line from carb back to gas tank installed to avoid flooding and for easier starting. Radio has been restored and now has an accessory plug. Distributor and carb were rebuilt. Electronic ignition; New voltage regulator and generator. Heavy duty headlight relay installed. This will provide up to 30 percent brighter headlights and a 50 percent longer service life for the original headlight switch. Modern oil filter installed. Filter can be unscrewed and replaced easily. New rubber installed around doors, trunk and front windshield to eliminate water leaks and wind. Interior and carpet restored. Much work has been done.
