Vehicle description
This car was elderly owned, garaged and maintained with care. Car had paint and interior redone. Tires are in great shape. Flathead runs so smoothly you can hardly hear it except for the glass-pac muffler in the rear.
It is very drivable. Glass is very good. One windshield wiper scratch on the drivers side. The paint is smooth. Top is good quality paint but could use a wet sand to make it shinier. The body is very solid with slight bubbling of paint near the imitation header pipes. There are a few stone pecks on the hood.
There are Mercury trim accents as this car from the factory did not come with much chrome. The chrome has been replaced or resurfaced and it is in great shape. The interior has been redone. Seats are great and comfortable and the carpet looks like new. Headliner looks like new. There is windshield chrome in the trunk with a new windshield gasket. There are fender skirts in the trunk, as pictured, painted the same color as the car.
The car is a three speed on the tree and the clutch and the shift is smooth. The brakes are solid and good to stop.
This car would be an excellent cruiser to shows and for the beginning hobbyist that does not want a restoration project. It is ready to show and fun to drive.
Good luck on your bidding! We thank you for your bids.
