Vehicle description

This 1953 Chevy Belair is a 4 door, 2 tone green with green/tan interior with 69,255 original miles on it. I have put 4,000 miles on it in the last 12 years that I owned it. It has always been inside and it has always taken very good care of, in our barn with a wood floor and always covered. There has never been any rust and the underneath is in mint condition. When I bought it I was told the the owner painted a light green on the car because it was starting to fade. He never used bondo any where on the car. This is a matching numbers car. It came with Power steering and an external oil filter. The dark green on the exterior is original, the interior is original as you can see in the pictures the front seat shows wear. The back seat and the headliner are in beautiful condition. It just had a valve job because the car was garaged and not driven enough. I did the head completely, valves, oil pan new gaskets, complete tune up. This car is very clean under the hood and in the trunk. The front end has new coil springs, shocks and 4 new tires with 150 miles on them. I changed the wheels to 14" to accommodate the factory wire hub caps, hard to get but they look really nice. I also have a Chevrolet shop manual that goes with the car. All the dash gauges work as they should-the speedometer and the odometer work properly. Even the wind up clock works and keeps time! This car runs great you can buy it and drive it anywhere. It passes inspection every year and it is registered and inspected now. I am down sizing my collection of antique cars. I also have the fender skirts but I didn"t put them on because they hit the spinners on the GM wire hub caps although you can take the rear spinners off. I am selling this car at no reserve so do not be afraid to bid on this car it is everything I said and you can call me any time to ask questions. Ask for AL at . Please do NOT text.
