Vehicle description
Let me start by saying that the production of these convertibles was only 1503! This understated mild custom has over 20 body modifications! That means the chances of seeing another are very slim. The convert is powered by a 1997 Lt-1 with port fuel injected Corvette engine. The automatic 4 speed is a stand alone 700 R-4. The rear end is a rebuilt 8" Ford with 3:55 new gears. Just rite for the highway road trips! We just returned from about a 2400 mile trip an got 19-22 mpg at 70-85 mph. Thanks to the cruise control. Not one time did our bottoms get uncomfortable in the Jaguar 9 way adjustable leather seats. The gauges are from classic instruments set in a modified 1952 Chev dash. The build has a pox. 6400 miles on it. I have owned the car for about 18 years. The build has a double Hart"s Mercedes canvas top - dark blue exterior and a tan interior. At this time the top is manual but easily made into a power top. For you guys still wearing your Mr. T starter kits- THERE IS NO A/C OR HEATER. The body is super straight! ! The paint is a 10 footer do to the fact is was my first paint job and I added to much thinner in the last gun full, then started spot painting (lesson learned). The ride has a killer over $1200 Kenwood sound system. The build has a Heidz"s front clip with air bags and 11"disc brakes. The rear suspension has 2 leaf springs with the ride tech airbag/shock absorbers. I am selling in order to do one more ride. PS the last photo shows the much needed side mirror improvements!
