Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1952 Ford F-1 is a restomod with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5 years. The vehicle runs great. Seller"s Notes I don’t exactly know how much I have in this truck at this point but it’s well over $60,000. Payment methods are cash, cashiers check or wire transfer. Vehicle Details We started off by completely taking the truck apart and sandblasting the frame, welding any unnecessary holes. Next we reinforced the original frame, epoxy primed and then painted the frame. Next we installed a Heidts mustang two front end, Ride tech four link rear, Engine, automatic transmission, and rear end from a 2001 mustang GT. The engine had 75,000 miles on it. Before we installed it, we did a compression test and replaced all gaskets and seals. Custom wiring harnesses were made and installed for the motor and a tuner is installed in the glove box for running multiple octanes. The entire vehicle was rewired and the fuse box is located behind the passenger seat and the battery behind drivers seat. A custom aluminum enclosure was fabricated along with a battery cut off switch installed. The gauges are all new electronic and perform as they should. The gas tank is new and was relocated under the bed between the frame and the fuel filler door is in the rear driver side fender. The bed, rear fenders, runningboards, tailgate are all brand new 100% metal. They were then professionally painted and reinstalled on the truck. The wooden bed floor is Red Oak, stained with five coats of Ebony stain. The original horn is wired and functions correctly. It has an Ididit tilt steering wheel installed. The parking brake was connected to the original handle and functions perfectly. Four wheel disc brakes were installed. Vintage air conditioning was installed. This thing runs like a scalded dog and stops on a dime. 0-60 in 5.8 with 87 octane. I’ve had it up to 100 miles an hour on the interstate and it would still pull your head back when you hit the accelerator. I felt that was fast enough. The truck stays in the garage and starts up every single time on the first crank. It runs and drives just like a mustang GT. You can hop in this truck anytime and drive it to the store, across country or the hot rod show, no need to trailer it. All of the above work was performed by a professional hot rod shop in phases, as they could work it in their schedule. The last phase yet to be completed was the cab and fenders on the front. The only thing left to do, if you choose, is repair a couple of spots in the front fenders and repaint the cab, front fenders, and hood. It does not have to be disassembled to do this in the back of the cab was painted prior to the bed being installed. Nothing has to be done to it, it is ready to go as is. Only those few cosmetics before being 100% re-done. Exterior The last three are the cosmetic imperfections in the front. Interior The last picture is the folder full of receipts for everything purchased during the restomod. Engine Download the Motors app
