Extensive Customizations During Nut & Bolt Restoration This 1952 Dodge Power Wagon B-3PW Pickup spent the majority of its life with two different owners and was discovered by a father/son inside an old barn in Dublin, California back in 2012. After convincing the 2 nd owner to sell it to them, they spent some time getting this beautiful classic running again and enjoyed for a short time it in its original condition. They were a little frustrated with the top speed of 40 MPH on the highways, however, so they slowly started a restoration to replace the drivetrain with something more reliable and fuel efficient. As most collectors already know, adding a significant power upgrade would require extensive modifications to the suspension, axles and the transfer case. The current owner teamed with Woodies 4x4 in Washington to rebuild the rear end with a Dana 60 and a 1 ton front end. Both received 456 gears, which make cornering a breeze. A professional fabricator also helped plan the chassis modifications, which included new side boards, rear fenders, a headboard, tailgate, running boards and oak planks for the bed. The wood received 4 coats of Poly with a spray satin finish (top and bottom). The cab and doors also received extensive work smoothing out the old dents, along with the original crank-out windshield. All nuts, bolts and washers are stainless steel grade 8. Once the body and drivetrain were fully restored, the last step was sending this beautiful pickup to Joe Deb Upholstery in Redding, California. The cab was completely sealed with insulation before the liner and carpeting were installed. GPS style Speedhut gauges was also added. The flawless two-tone paint was the final upgrade and this 1952 Dodge Power Wagon takes your breath away in person. Phenomenal Ride Quality both On & Off-Road In terms of its present condition, this 1952 Dodge Power Wagon B-3PW 1 Ton Pickup shows almost no visible signs of wear to the immaculate body lines, glimmering paint and the show quality interior. The Oak bed is also exceptional so this custom pickup is definitely show quality and an excellent blend of classic and modern. The interior in particular stands out with subtle, tasteful upgrades that fit the quality of this build perfectly. You’ll find that the engine compartment and the engineering in general are just as impressive. Out on the open road, this 1952 Dodge Power Wagon can cruise at 70+ MPH down the highway or the California coastline with excellent acceleration and handling. The upgraded disc brakes also provide ample stopping power while the Dana rear axle delivers excellent torque. It also offers exceptional off-roading capabilities as well with excellent ground clearance and all the accessories you’d look for in a quality 4x4.
