Who wouldn"t want to drive their own Fire truck ? It"s a working/running truck that turns heads ! I purchased from the fire department when it was retired from service, but it"s still got a lot of life in it.
It will need tires, but I just replaced brakes all around. Heavy-duty winch up front can pull a house off it"s foundations. . if you ever need to do that. Dodge originally designed this vehicle as an ammunition carrier; geared towards pulling heavy loads and hill climbing. It won"t get you there fast, but it will get you almost anywhere ! Previously reconfigured by forest preserves and local fire departments (such as this truck) to get water into the hills to fight brush fires. Simple to work on and a beast of a workhorse.
