Vehicle description
You are bidding on a 1952 Chevrolet Pickup truck. I am the second owner of this truck. It is very complete and very original. I don"t believe the engine has ever been out of the truck. Although there is a coating of surface rust over the entire body, the only actual rust holes I could find anywhere on the truck were a couple 2 to 3 inch holes in the passenger floor, just in front of the seat, and some holes along the bed where the metal meets the wood. You"ll notice the cab corners, frame, running boards, and fender bottoms, all places that are usually prone to rusting, are not rusty at all.
I have not tried to turn the engine over, but I"m sure it will need a complete rebuild anyway since the truck has been sitting for over 20 years. The original owner told me that some kids shot out the glass and the headlights a few years ago. I had to put 2 trailer wheels and tires on the front because the tires on the original split rims in the front wouldn"t hold air, and no tire repair place would attempt to work on the split rims. You can see the original front split rim wheels in the pickup bed, however, if you"re planning to do an authentic restoration back to how the truck would have left the factory.
NOTE: Don"t pay any attention to eBay"s listing of "Clear Title". This car is being sold on a Bill of Sale only as Georgia does not issue Titles for cars this old. There is NO TITLE for this car. However, if your state (or country) requires more than a Bill of Sale for you to license this car, I can obtain a current Georgia Registration for the car which is equivalent to a Title in all states and foreign countries. This will cost you an extra $200 over the sale price of the car.
