Vehicle description
This is a restored, 1951 Willys M38, military version (Korean war) of the CJ-3A Jeep. I have rebuilt the fuel and brake systems. I restored and installed an original fuel tank, air cleaner, seats, and a few other items. It has original L-134 four cylinder engine. It won’t win any drag races, but it will climb a wall.
This is a fun project that can be driven. Engine runs well and starts easily.
I have enjoyed the work, but am ready to move on to a new project.
It is not and has never been titled/registered, so disregard the registration option forces me to choose. The previous owner was a Border Patrol agent in south Texas. He had it for quite some time and indicated he got it from someone who also used it as a ranch vehicle after buying it in a government auction. Here are the details for doing the bonded title in Texas, if you are not familiar. https:/ www.txdmv.gov/motorists/buying-or-selling-a-vehicle/bought-a-vehicle-with-no-title
