Vehicle description
Available for purchase is a 1951 Packard 300 4-door sedan with 5.4 L flathead straight 8 cylinder engine generating 150 hp and Ultramatic transmission. This black beauty was restored from 2006-2008 with various mechanical and body work completed, re-chrome and stainless steel trim, new paint, engine rebuild, and interior updates. An electric fuel pump has been added. This daily driver runs and drives nicely.
The 300 model wasn"t the base and not quite the top-of-the-line 400. It featured a more luxurious interior with carpeted floors (not rubber), rear seat armrest, "comfort-contoured cushions", front AND rear vent windows.
This Packard has been driven approximately 250 miles since the engine was rebuilt in 2008. It has been in storage for the last several years and it"s time to find a new home.
The sale includes restoration records and additional trim pieces (including new side mirrors for install).
