Vehicle description
The barn find out mercury needs a new home! Off the road since 1959. I have the 1959 punch card for state registration. I’m the second owner. This cool car has been in storage and needs to go. Skillfully rebuilt flathead - new lifters, guides, valves pistons, rings, bearings, balanced rotating assembly and squared rods, Fenton headers, dual point Mallory, new fuel tank, harness, complete custom dual exhaust, wiring harness, fuel pump, water pumps, reman generator/starter, re-cored radiator, rebuilt carb, u-joints, stainless brake and fuel lines, new brakes-rebuilt wheel cylinders, linings, reman master cylinder, balanced driveshaft and much more. Engine runs great, needs some work to make a driver. To address areas of rot, car does come with NOS rear lower quarters which are bolt on, another set of steel wheels, 2 unity spot lights, correct fender skirts, a trunk full of spare parts, several sets of hubcaps, beauty rings, wheel covers, core engine, a Fulton sunshield visor and a steel mercury visor, an extremely rare NOS rocker panel that was unfortunately run over but would make a great piece to copy and reproduce as there are none of these in existence. The vehicle does drive well enough to drive on a trailer or transport.
I am more into old Ford trucks and would rather invest my time and energy towards that. I can’t stand to see it idle, someone needs to enjoy it! Tons of valuable parts, contact me with questions and videos
