Vehicle description
I am helping sell this great-American-classic, 1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan convertible to help settle an estate. Since Mrs. Hubbard"s family purchased this car, it has always been barn or garage-kept and very well maintained. It has 98,812 original miles - all driven before it was parked in the barn in 1976, Four years ago, the family decided they were going to restore the car. They got the car running and driving, installed new exhaust and then the health went bad on the family member working on the car. It was then driven back into the barn.
Last week we pulled it out of the barn and got it running again. It has a straight, solid body with a good frame and floor. The lower and inner rockers have rust. The seats have some very old covers on them and I am sure they need to be recovered. The dash and door panels look good. The carpet and top are due to be replaced. The Denman wide white-wall tires look great. We hosed the dust off so you could see the quality of car you are bidding on.
This is truly a great investment - climbing in value every year. This car is a great candidate for someone wanting to finish a classic, drive a well-patina"d survivor or build a hot rod. The current NADA Book Value is: Low-$15,800; Average-$28,200; High-$70,900. Do not let these values stop you from making an offer today. This car is being sold with absolutely NO RESERVE.
I have 100% positive feedback (please read) because I don"t exaggerate the condition of cars. This vehicle is being sold without reserve, as I feel this is the only fair way to sell a car at auction. If you have any questions, please call me (Ken) directly (quickest and preferred) at 513-403-7386, or email, and I will help you. You do not have to wait for the auction to end. The family is accepting offers. If this is the car for you, call me and make an offer today.
$2.000 due in 48 hours, balance due in 7 days. Car is located in Cincinnati, Ohio 45248 and is being sold with a clean, clear title. I will help with shipping arrangements, anywhere in the world, if you would like.
