HIGHLY MODIFIED 1951 Ford F1 pick up. I will list as much detail as I can but there is alot here.
Engine: -Freshly rebuilt (71 miles) Ford 460 bored .30 over -RV cam -Weiand stealth intake -Holley 4150 750 cfm carb with electric choke -1.5" Gilmer drive - Straight cut timing gears .- 350 amp alternator .- New A/C compressor and evaporator -Remote dual oil filters - Pre lube oil pump with remote mount filters .-Powermaster hi torque gear reduced starter .-Dual electric exhaust cutouts (dumps wide open out through the front fenders or closed through the rear glasspacks) 3" dual exhaust all the way through .-JW Bell adapter with a freshly rebuild (71 miles) AOD trans, new torque converter, deep B&M cast aluminum pan .-6AL ignition module -Hood hydraulically lifts
Front and rear axles: -Front original I-beam axle grafted with a mustang rack and pinion. - New spindles, kingpins, bushings, etc. Has not had an alignment yet. -Ford 9" rear, new detroit locker, 4.00 gears, new axle shafts, seals, bearings, etc. - Triangulated 4 link front and rear with 1-1/4 heims. Some idiot drove off a tall curb thinking it was a driveway so the lower control arms need to be straightened or replaced. 1-1/2 tubing. That idiot was me. -Rear watts link and rear torsion bar. -Front and rear disc brakes, all new brake lines, fittings, master cylinder, booster, etc. Air ride front and rear -Electric brake lock on the front axle -New wheels and whitewalls. Tires have been weather checked by the Vegas sun
Inside cab: -100 hour custom built bomber seat, all hand riveted. Virgin Mary illuminates when the headlights are turned on -Suicide doors -Doors and roof all lined with US license plates. Interior dome lights -All aluminum dash and steering wheel. All custom built. - All new gauges -Manual steering truck -Power door poppers with remote (Also controls the air ride) -Power lexan windows. -New glass and weather stripping front and rear -Functional driver side spot light -The roof strobe light does work but I think there might be a short somewhere -Cab has a new A/C evaporator hiding up in the ceiling, vents through the dash.
Rear bed area: -Dual 4 core aluminum radiators with dual electric fans all the way in the back. Better fans should be installed. She likes to get hot quick. An inline coolant pump would help alot. - Hydraulic bed cover - Beer keg fuel tank which feeds in to a 30+ gallon aluminum bulkhead fuel cell with electric fuel pump. - Twin air compressors (new) -10 gallon aluminum air tank with all new solenoids for the air ride. -Illuminated pneumatic turn signals.
- It took 3 donor trucks to build this one. All panels, cab, fenders, etc. were sand blasted primed, and painted with a pulverized iron paint. Then patina"d with various acids before sealing with polyurethane. The last coat of poly did not bond well. Personally I would wet sand and wax if it were me. Or if you don"t like the rust look, sand blast and paint whatever color you want. Very little body filler on this truck and zero fiberglass. Hence the 3 donor trucks.
The frame is notched, z"d, and plated in. Extremely rigid.Clean Nevada title in my name. She runs and drives but definitely needs things dialed in to be road worthy. Consider this a 80-90% completed project.
