| “Excellent. Low original mileage, great condition, everything worked, drives nicely. Very reliable. Original Knobs & Switches, the equipment they control all worked. Even the Magic Air under the dash. After painting, we put back all the original knobs and switches. It is fun showing people all the original knobs, Magic Air, and more. The truck was inspected before purchasing. No rust. Only the normal parts were rebuilt or replaced. I.e., tune-up parts, Radiator, Carburetor rebuilt, all the rubber (belts, brake lines, belts, etc.) What a great time capsule. The wiring harness is original, in good condition & shows proper aging for 22,425 miles. The cab was repainted professionally in original colors a few years ago on the frame. A steel bed with a wood floor was added over two years ago. (it came to me with a lovely wood flatbed that showed little use.) The frame does not have any issues. I was collecting low millage, original cars and trucks in great condition. This Ford F1 Deluxe was a "Wow". Deluxe, Flat head V8, Nice interior (I think the seat may have been redone), everything worked well, even the single rear tail light. It had old rubber floor mats. The truck was inspected before purchasing. No rust. after purchasing, only essential parts were rebuilt or replaced. I.e., tune-up parts, Radiator, Carburetor rebuilt, all the rubber (belts, brake lines, belts, etc.). I wanted both water pumps replaced. I left the engine compartment alone to show the,022,425 miles appears correct. (the engine was repainted by mistake.) In 1951, the first owner paint the exterior of the cab to cover the red. Red was a communist color then. Just think, you will be touching and using the same knobs that the factory workers, the original owner, used back in 1951 You are going to be so happy owning and driving this Ford F1 Deluxe with Flat head V8, Very reliable. It is fun showing people all the original knobs, Magic Air, …. The wiring harness is original, in good condition & shows proper aging for 021,121 miles. Sometimes a mild clutch chatter in 1 st . Carper, rubber mats, headliner, window and windshield gaskets, door gaskets, body gaskets, exhaust and more simple parts were replaced. This Deluxe got the proper Deluxe replaced items. Sorry for some repeated information. It is great truck when I collected it. Trucks that nice need very little to bring them back to 1951. And able to keep almost all the parts original.
