Vehicle description
1960 Willy Jeep Pickup After selling my exclusive vehicle business, I decided to once again offer top value, one-of-a-kind, classic, antique and unique vehicles at reasonable prices. The exciting Military theme Jeep offered here is a prime example.
1950 Willys Jeep with its blunt front end, round headlights, four flat fenders and boxy all steel cab immediately identifies it as a first cousin to the Jeep CJ. This one recognizes itself as a one of a kind retro-classic. Call it a Rat Rod if you like, it is one of a kind built f or highway speeds, a great cruiser. It draws a crowd everywhere, every time.
Engine and Drive Train
This Willys not only looks rugged it is rugged. It has a General Motors drive train with an excellent V 6 engine, a 5-speed transmission, and total functioning 4-wheel drive. The engine compartment is a real attention getter. It is clean, detailed and well organized. The engine runs smoothly, does not smoke or leak oil. It shifts effortlessly and handles like a modern day vehicle at any speed. For your comfort, it has power brakes and power steering. The frame is solid and ready for any terrain. A really great sounding siren was added just for the fun of it.
Exterior
The photo gallery shows in detail the many outstanding features. Kindly refer to it as I point out a few of them. The body is an absolute work of art. The builder had a wonderful imagination. It took a lot of hours to build and it was well worth the effort. The stance commands attention. Its modifications are tastefully placed. The mild Military theme is a history lesson from Jeep beginnings. The appeal is universal. The designer chose the perfect name for this truck. . . . . "hell rat". People stop in their tracks whenever this truck is displayed. It takes time to draw it all in. The one feature that seems to amaze onlookers are the box side wings and 59 Cadillac blue dot tail lights. This was not an easy task. Careful attention to detail made it outstanding. Starting with 75 mm msai shells to incorporate the Military theme the 59 Cadillac lights were fitted. In order to accommodate them the box side wings were built. The blue dots were added for finalization. The bumpers are rugged and fit perfectly. A heavy duty hitch was installed. When you lower the tailgate you will find a surprise, an ice and drink compartment ready for a tailgate party. BF Goodrich deep tread Baja Champion tires nicely finish the exterior. Here is a list of a few of the unique features:
Fuel fill Saw blade visor Ice and drink compartment located in bed Box wings ‘59 Cadillac tails with blue dots Trailer hitch Bench seat License plate sun visors
Door Panels Military theme Interior
The interior is nicely appointed. It is clean, the seat is comfortable for 3 adults, not fancy but nice. The 1976 red, white, and blue add license plate sun visors add the finishing touch. The passenger side of the seat has an armrest, very comfortable. The glove box opens and is clean inside. The rear window has a slider for those hot summer days.
This is a detailed one of a kind investment opportunity. Nothing else like it on the road, not even close. I believe it to be a drive anywhere truck. It was professionally built for the road, for fun and to show. It draws the biggest crowds, always. This Willys Jeep is well priced and a great value. I have a clean Title ready for transfer.
