Vehicle description

Raymond Loewy was the most prominent of American industrial designers. His unusual rich artistic and cultural legacy lives on in his design of the long, low alluring 1950 Studebaker inspired by the famous P-38 Lighting. A renowned world war 2 fighter. (included in sale) This Studebaker had a high end restoration a few years back and stills shows exceptionally well. Anything rubber was replaced, including all windows, door weather stripping, channels, wiring etc. All chrome was done, brakes, and front end. Transmission is 3 speed with optional overdrive and the unique automatic Hill Holder. Also has the optional deluxe Climatizer, under seat heater and defrost heating system with exterior sun visor and radial tires. Car has NO rust and shows well for any car show. When painted the fenders were removed and painted separately they are a slight shade off from the body. (I noticed but no one ever mentions it) Interior was completely redone in original design including headliner, doors, carpet and even the firewall. This car is so easy and comfortable to drive. Includes binders of history, maintenance, sales literature owners manual and new battery. A $500.00 non refundable deposit required within 48 hours of bid closure with balance within 10 days.
