Vehicle description

Barn find, bulletnose. This car is very solid and original. It even has the old car smell! The upholstery is mostly original and in very good shape. Seats and headliner in very good shape for the age and look to be mohair.
The car runs and drives. It is a little stiff from sitting. The motor is quiet. At idle it is hard to hear that it is running. It will need fluid changes from storage but it does run, start, drive and stop.
The paint is old but mostly shiny. It looks to be enamel so it could use some buffing in spots. The glass is good, with minimal clouding.
The car has been in the dry many years. No gaping rust holes. The doors shut well. The electric system is the original six volt system.
I feel the mileage is not far from original but do not have documentation to prove it.
There are some spare parts in the trunk that go with the car.
I had this car outside one day and it attracted many people. One person thought it was a Tucker! If your grandad had one of these and simply parked it in his garage for many years; this is just that type of car. Used but never abused. Not a show car, but a time piece for sure.
Some questions on the paint and engine. The paint is older and will shine well with some buffing. It has imperfections and some scratches due to age. This week a Studebaker Club member stopped by and remarked how original the car was for the age. It looks like the door panels and the carpet have been replaced. The original floor starter button is there but there is a button on the dash to start it.
The motor runs but will need fluid changes in my opinion and a possible gas tank drain and clean. The motor does smoke some when started. The steering is good and the brakes are up but stiff. Carb doesn"t leak but may need a rebuild.
Thank you for your bids.
