Vehicle description

For sale is a nice original 1950 Chevrolet Styleline Special, with only 2 owners before me. This car was originally purchased by a doctor for his wife from Norwood Motors in Warwick Rhode Island. She told the second owner that she kept the Chevy in the garage it took it out about once a week to go to the market. She used it until 1990 she then put it in storage until the second owner purchased it in 1993. The second owner told me she too kept it in the garage. She enjoyed taking the car to car shows for years. She named the car Daisy. She had a plaque made with a little story and the cars name on it, see picture. She framed the owners manual, heater control card, glove box decal, engine break in card, and quality control card. While she owned it Daisy appeared in an issue of Hemmings Motor News in an article called Name that Car, The article is included with the car. When I bought the car from her she had over 300 trophys that went with it, I didn"t take them all but I did take 2 boxes of them. She let the car sit for a few years while taking care of her aging mother. Last fall she decided to sell it. I purchased the car and after replacing the battery, fuel tank, master cylinder, and the clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing, it starts right up, runs and drives great, with only 92,548 miles on it. The wide white walls only have a few hundred miles on them. All the lights and gauges work. The paint on the car is all original and still looks great. it"s not perfect, there are a few scratches and a couple of small spots of rust bubbling through the paint, on the drivers side rocker and under the drivers side tail light. See pictures. the interior is in great shape, nice paint on the dash, the seats look to have been reupolstered at some point along with a replacement carpet. There is a small hole in the floor inside the drivers door, see picture. The headliner looks to be original and in great shape. Under the hood looks clean and neat, the previous owner did a little painting under there. in the trunk is a jack and spare along with the original trunk mat. Notice the nice chrome trim behind the door handles, around the gas tank door and on the bottom of the fenders. All the chrome on the car is very nice. Car is being sold with a Rhode Island registration and a bill of sale. Titles aren"t required on older vehicles in Rhode Island. That is all you need to transfer ownership.
