Willys Jeepster. 1949 Jeepster Phaeton. L-Head 134 cubic inch flathead engine with dry sump oil filter, 3 speed manual column shift transmission with overdrive. Clutch is in very good condition and did not need service. Added new dual master cylinder brakes. Wheel cylinders sleeved with stainless steel. New fuel sending unit. Re-chromed front bumper. Triple chromed. Front bumper is an old rear bumper which has been straightened and professionally triple chromed and polished. 5 New Coker wide white wall tires in period correct size and bias ply construction. New battery and cables. All lights and turn signals work. New wheel covers from Kaiser Willys supply. This vehicle was painted green over the original Blue color at some point. The paint is very shiny and clean. The Jeepster had a bent passenger side fender which was straightened and coated with primer. The driver seat is torn and needs re-covering. A full set of replacement stainless trim parts comes with the car. The side curtains are trashed, but the frames are all there. The top looks original and is in good condition. A NOS speedometer head in the original King Seeley box is also included. Ready to drive and enjoy. Stored inside a secured, dry, rodent-free, facility. No rust or dents.
