Vehicle description
Vehicle Details You are bidding on a fully restored 1949 Willys 4-63 Jeepster Phaeton with overdrive. It started as a relatively rust-free vehicle. The vehicle was completed over 2 years in 2018-2019. The professional deep red paint is excellent. The finish on the chassis has been given the same attention to detail. The floorboards have been finished with a sound deadening and heat shielding coating, NOT an asphaltic coating. The engine, transmission , overdrive , steering and transmission have been rebuilt by a master engine builder. Yes, hardened exhaust seats were placed. The black Haartz cloth top unit and top pads have not yet been fitted to the top frame, but is included. The top frame is fully restored and ready to receive the cloth top. The side curtains are complete and ready to use. All components have been rebuilt or replaced. The engine and drive train are the original. The vehicle has about 300 miles on it since restored (odometer says 42432 miles). The radio is not a working item. The heater is correct, as well as the oil filter, air filter ,gauges and trim. Original parts list and mechanics manual included. I have many other photos of the restoration if there is a concern or specific questions. The vehicle is in Freeland, MIchigan. I encourage inspection before purchase as with any auto purchase. I will be happy to assist in logistics of shipping, but shipping and choice of shipper will be arranged by the buyer. Although restored, as with any older vehicles, it is still being sold as is. It is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel the auction if no bids have been placed and it is sold locally. Thanks for looking! My reason for selling is my other projects (too many). . . Images Download the Motors app
