1949 Mercury 4 Door Sedan For Parts or Restoration Kool Suicide Doors Flathead 1949 Mercury 4 Door Sedan For Parts or Restoration Kool Suicide Doors Flathead Click images to enlarge Description Here is a Vintage 1949 Mercury 4 Door Sedan For Parts or Restoration w/ Kool Suicide Doors Flathead. Last owner was trying to restore this car and completed hood and passenger front fender. Mostly surface rust on the body. The frame is very solid. Does have a clear title. Flathead V-8 is stuck. Heads are 8B A Ford while the block appears to be Mercury. Includes many parts that were taken off this vehicle, including bumpers, which appear to be in better than average condition, and many miscellaneous body parts, trim etc. Pictures show many of these parts. Trunk, hood and grille are not attached. Also includes brand new rocker panels.
Both windshields are cracked, Some side windows are cracked while the rear window is in great condition.
Trunk and floor have rust issues. The two grill sides will need some work.
Interior is "toast" while the iconic Merc dash is in quite nice condition and mostly complete, sans radio. Is missing the back of the front seat.
Has brand new tires, although the rears are snow tires. Rolls very well.
Overall the body is in decent condition.
