1949 Ford patina shop truck This is a cool little shop truck that has just the right stance and patina . The low stance is from a Heidts mustang II front end and updated rear leafs with 2 inch lowering blocks . The truck was nicely put together and has been a great proven driver for many many miles . Equipped with a nice lumpy cam sbc , 350 tranny and late model highway geared rear end. All of the electrical has been updated with a new modern harness , all new gauges ( that all function as they should speedo works but odometer does not) , miles unknown, indicator lights on dash , vintage style parking lights mounted to front bumper , heater inside cab , tilt column , new glass with new seals / channels / and door glass felts , reupholstered original seat, power booster om firewall , battery on firewall , new radiator , tranny cooler , nice painted ralley wheels with caps , slightly tubbed for a deep wheel and more aggressive tire in the back, old barn wood for the bed which matches the trucks vibe , fuel tank under bed with fill plate in bed. This is a truck that can be left outside or in the parking lot as any parking lot dings will just enhance the look. Starts right up every time and goes down the road nicely . The body is old and a bit rough but it works on this truck and I would never consider painting it or changing the patina . This is not a perfect truck by any means , it is old , has some rattles , engine bay could use a detail, interior is comfortable but not show quality . but if you get this vibe of vehicle and are tired of maintaining a high dollar finished vehicle than you will appreciate this truck .
