Vehicle description
This is such a nice little truck that is fun to drive and gets a lot of attention anywhere you go. This truck has had quite a few little improvements done to it in the past few years which really assist in its performance. The truck always starts up and runs great with the 235 inline six from a 1955 Chevy along with the rebuilt and re-geared rear-end. The new radio and speaker are modeled after the original style and they work great. The heater works along with all the dash gauges that have all been rebuilt. The gas tank is new along with the seat cover. Turn signals have also been added to the 12 volt electrical system. The engine is from a 1955 Chevy and it does not leak oil or overheat. All new Fenton headers, gaskets, exhaust system, Smitthys glass packs, correct intake manifold and rebuilt carburetor(Chevs of the 40"s) have been installed. The truck has more then enough power to get around town or down the freeway and it sounds amazing with the new exhaust. Please note that the truck has been re-wired. The body is exactly the way it was when I purchased the truck. I don"t know anything about what has been done but I would like to point out that the paint job is great for a driver but would not be suitable for a show truck. It does have a few scratches and imperfections in the paint. I don"t see any major issues that would require immediate attention. If you will notice in the pictures the interior kick panels have a patch job on each side of the cab which makes me think there was some issue in that area. The front bumpers and grill are new and the chrome is amazing on these items. The running boards are sprayed with black rubberized undercoating from the previous owner because his wife was slipping on them. The whitewall tires are Firestones and they should be replaced if you plan to drive this on a daily basis. They hold air and they drive fine however they are older. At some point the floorboards were replaced with newer ones. Please take a look at the pictures to see what was done.
