This Victoria was also the first convertible for Packard since 1942. This "48 Packard is powered by a Packard 327 Cubic Inch Straight 8 motor with a single 2 barrel carburetor and 3 speed manual transmission. Beautiful metallic maroon paint and superb body work makes this classic Packard a standout at any car show or in your private collection. The black canvas power assist convertible top is in excellent shape. This "48 Victoria"s 4 wide whitewall radial tires with full Packard wheelcovers and beauty rings are a welcome upgrade and ensure a smoother ride going down the road. This Packard also includes optional fender skirts which are in fantastic shape. The chrome and brightwork on this Packard Victoria are excellent quality and present particularly well. Looking out over the long hood the optional Chrome Plated Pelican Hood Ornament is really special. The front bumper also features optional Packard fog lamps. The black leather bench seat interior as well as the black carpeting are well done. The beautiful steering wheel and dash are also well preserved. The gauges on this Packard look fantastic and include a speedometer, electric clock, fuel, oil pressure, alternator, and temperature gauges.
