1948 MERCURY 2DR COUPE VIN: 4T01U536251 For Sale: 1948 Mercury Eight 2dr Coupe. This is a perfect Rat Rod or the start a nice custom project, different from the rest. Car has a Brand-New SBC 350 engine coupled to a Newly Rebuilt 3spd Trans, we have all paperwork documenting the new drivetrain, Installed last June. Interior is in Nice shape, ready to enjoy. Car fires right up, runs and sounds great. Body has some rust on the lower panels but not too bad for it’s age. Car would make a wicked Rat Rod with a slammed suspension, but it can be enjoyed today.
