Here"s one you don"t see every day, a 1948 Kaiser. The Kaiser Frazer car company only lasted a few years 47-51), so there aren"t too many of these around any more. This Kaiser starts, idles, runs, shifts, drives and stops good. It"s got a 6 cylinder with a three speed manual transmission. This Kaiser was rescued by some old timers from a barn after decades of storage. They did all the work of getting it back to driver status. I have a video of their test drive and I drove it a few miles too. Most of the lights work, but not the radio. I did not test the heater, but it appears to have been worked on recently. They claim the miles are original at 43k and they might be right. Check out the pics and the video links to get an excellent picture of the car. Of course it looks like something dropped on the roof and there"s some paint damage on the passenger side of the car. The gray paint is not primer, that"s the original color "speedwing gray" found on these Kaiser"s in 1948.
The original interior on this Kaiser survived nicely as shown. Glass is good except the driver"s side window, but fortunately that"s flat glass and can be cut by most any glass company. Tires are old, but do hold air. You"ll want to trailer it home and go through the car, it may have some other things it needs I"m not aware of. I"m selling it as a project vehicle only but I will warrant it will run, drive and stop at pick up. It"s a 6 volt system. Vehicles over 10 years old are exempt from mileage disclosure in Wisconsin but the odometer reads under 44k and is believed accurate. NADA retail book value is between 7k and 23k depending on condition, so this project does have good upside. Make a unique rat rod too! Car comes with a clear title.

I am required by Wisconsin law to be a registered dealer so you will need to complete all forms required by the state and pay for the car prior to arranging delivery. If you are a Wisconsin resident, you will need to pay all title fees and sales tax as well. Out of state buyers will receive the clear title after the car is paid and picked up. Out of state buyers will pay tax and fees required their your home state. If you are a Wisconsin resident, I"ll send the title in for you as/if required by law. All buyers will pay a $195 dealer service fee in addition to the purchase price. Buyer agrees to pay the non-refundable $200 deposit under all circumstances. Balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days after sale. Buyer agrees venue will be Green Lake County Wisconsin for any civil disputes. Buyer agrees all inspections/inquiries have been completed to his/her satisfaction prior to bidding, buying or making an offer.
